The Global Network consists of fully autonomous network nodes deployed in secure data centers around the world. The technology leverages patented tools that optimize Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA's) to process data at lightening fast speeds with US Defense grade security. Each node can handle the activity of the entire BTC network by itself.

Each node on the network consists of a server that is audited after it's built to ensure that the specifications meet the publicly disclosed requirements of the Global network before it is deployed. Once deployed, the nodes operate autonomously. Any maintenance is conducted by approved technicians that are supervised by independent auditors to ensure that no human influence can be introduced. Nodes are deployed around the world and will be also deployed in space via satellites.

Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA's) have the ability to formally verify other FPGA's due to their unique atomic fingerprints. When semiconductors are produced, the manufacturer places the components in the exact same place on each chip board. However, the manufacturer cannot control the location of the atoms on the chip, therefore at an atomic level each chip has its own unique key signature or fingerprint based on the location of the atoms. This allows the FPGA's on the Global Network to immediately identify and formally verify the other nodes allowing them to reach consensus immediately.
